- Two main research foci:
- neural control of force production and movement, particularly under conditions of muscle fatigue;
- recovery of motor control following stroke, with emphasis on postural control.
She employs sophisticated motor unit analysis to investigate fundamental motor control principles, force platform technology to measure postural sway, and isokinetic equipment to measure force production.
